07.03.2015 / Israel
To Israel I flew from Prague airport as solo traveller. Flight was about 5 and half hours which was until that day the longest flight I ever took. Whole flight did not seem so long as I met there nice guy Michail, who was living in Tel Aviv, so i had someone "local" to tell me more about the country and culture, so wer were talking talking talking.
I was very excited and I could not wait to meet my friend Klara for first time. She was waiting for me at the airport. Klara is beautiful dark curly hair girl from Czech Republic, who returned to her country. She hugged me, kissed me and said welcome to Israel and gave me I can not even remember how much Shekel. I only looked at her and could not understand. She was smiling and said: "I am Jewish, I will always have a money", and she showed me where was my shared bus called "Sherut".
I took my bus and my journey started. First I went to Jerusalem. This city is breathtaking. All history and everything has got just different feeling. Even nicer was that I came to Jerusalem on day of orthodox easter Pascha, I could not choose better place for spending Easter. Of course my purpose was to go to Western wall and put my wish in there and pray. I must admit it worked, after 4 years my wish came true.
You ask where I did stay, I stayed in fantastic hostel, that time was not available many rooms so I had to take shared rooms, but I felt totally safe. Hostel was in center so I could walk from there to most of the sights. Next days I visited Ein Gedi national park and I took a floating dip in to the Death Sea. What an experience. My holidays ended in Tel Aviv, where i stayed for rest of my days. Walking, seeing friends.
I will never ever forget this holidays, and I know one day I will be back again.
